Blood and Lymph Module

Part 6: Reflection
Reflection is very important to deepen your learning and to be a life-long learner.
In reflection, you use critical thinking to analyze the educational situation and learn
from it, and then you will try out what you have learned to have an experience. The
benefit of this part of your portfolio is to encourage you to reflect on what you are
doing, what you are finding difficult and what you are trying to plan for.

Write a situation that had happened during the module. The following elements
should be covered in your reflection:
1. Description: what has happened?
2. Feeling: what were you thinking and feeling about the experience?
3. Evaluation: what was good and bad about the experience? What are
your strengths and weaknesses?
4. Analysis: what sense can you make about the situation? What’s the most
learnt lesson? How will my learning influence/change practice?
5. Action plan: if it arose again, what would you do?
