Correction of typographic error which crept into the NITK Logo (Emblem) and the terms and
conditions for use of the Institute emblem - Regarding.
Ref.: Resolution of the 70th Board of Governors (BoG) meeting (vide Item No.70.3.6) of the Institute
held on 09-05-2023.

The Board of Governors (BoG) of the Institute in its 70th meeting held on 09-05-2023 (vide Item
No.70.3.6) has approved the correction of a typographical error (Hindi version of ‘WORK IS WORSHIP’) which
crept into the NITK Logo (Emblem). This change shall be incorporated in the Institute Letter Heads and all Official
communications. In this connection, all Deans, Heads/ Concerned of the respective Departments/ School/ Offices/
Sections/ Centers/ Units are hereby informed to adopt the necessary changes in the Institute emblem. This
change shall be effective from the date of issue of this circular.
The updated Institute emblem has been outlined in this communication for information to all concerned
of this Institute.

Further, the terms and conditions for the use of the Institute emblem are enclosed along with this Circular
as Annexure - I. These terms and conditions should be strictly adhered to while using the emblem.
This circular is being issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
