WHERE DID I WORK

IBM – Pheme Software Pvt. Ltd.

IBM-International Business Machines, is a
globally renowned technology and innovation
company. Throughout the internship period, I
had the privilege of working within various
departments, gaining hands-on exposure to
cutting-edge technologies.
WHAT WAS IT
For my project-based summer internship,
spanning from June 1 2023 to September 1 2023,
I undertook a challenging assignment. I
collaborated with my peers to develop a project
where we tasked with a specific problem
statement.
I express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Yogesh for
his invaluable guidance throughout this endeavor.
INTRODUCTION TO MY WORK

The purpose of my work for the project was to optimize the

performance of the system for data-intensive applications through the
implementation of parallel computing techniques. In a crucial era for
accurate weather predictions, our project revolutionizes forecasting
by integrating meteorology expertise with cloud computing. By
leveraging the scalability and computational power of the cloud, we
enhance real-time precision. Traditional methods often lag in today's
rapid tech landscape; our solution addresses this gap, migrating
complex tasks to the cloud for swift, accurate weather models.

Project Title: Cloud Based Weather Forecast System

WHAT My primary task was to optimize the
performance of a cloud-based system
WAS MY for data-intensive applications

TASK through the implementation of parallel

computing techniques.
As businesses increasingly rely on

?
data-driven applications, the need for
efficient and scalable solutions
becomes paramount.
The main objectives we aimed to reach were:

1. AWS Parallel Processing

2. Scalability on AWS
3. Cost-Efficient Operation
4. Real-Time Forecasting
5. AWS Load Balancing
6. Cross-Platform Compatibility
7. Collaborative AWS Environment
8 .Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
WHAT DID I DO
Title: Cloud Based Weather Forecast System 0000

In order to meet the required objectives, I created a

cloud based weather forecast system using Amazon
Web Services - AWS Cloud9, AWS EC2, AWS
Parallel Clusters, AWS CLI, Grafana Monitoring Tool
and HPC environment creation to optimize the
performance of a cloud-based system for data-
intensive applications using parallel computing
techniques along with my team members under the
guidance of our mentor.
WHAT DID I ACHIEVE

1. Parallel Computing Implementation

2. AWS Integration
3. Real-Time Data Processing
4. Load Balancing Strategies
5. Scalability Solutions
6. Cloud Technology Mastery
7. Parallel Computing Proficiency
8. Real-World Application
9. Collaborative Development
10. Documentation and Knowledge Transfer
CERTIFICATE
RECOGNITION
I received a certificate for the
successful completion of the
internship I worked on along with
my group members under the
guidance of the mentor assigned to
us.
THANKYOU
