From the start of my education, Business has been my passion and field of interest. Many
may disagree and find it dry for their liking; however there is something about Business
Management BA (Hons) that have always kept me obsessed about.

My Academics

I would like to introduce me as a young, energetic, passionate and hardworking person. My name is
Ibrahim Khan and my date of Birth is October 17, 2000. I belong to the nation of Pakistan. All
members of my family are well educated.

I completed Secondary School Certificate from Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education,
Rawalpindi in year 2017. Then I completed Higher Secondary School Certificate from Board of
Intermediate and Secondary Education, Rawalpindi in year 2019.

Why I Want to Study Business:

Soon after getting my College degree I realized that having only education in the field of FA (ICS)
will not be enough to stand tall in the competitive job market and decided to get further education
in Business Management BA (Hons) which will allow me to apply for jobs in major Business sectors
in Pakistan. I researched and found that people with education from abroad are always in demand
and with my specialization Business Management BA (Hons) will finally allow me to have a good
business designation in the sector. Besides that, I will have an opportunity to learn from one of the
finest Universities in the world, will have more exploration of the field, and above all, it will help me
grow personally.
Since the beginning of my educational life till now, I have learned not only the importance of
continuous academic improvement, but also improving while required too. I believe, with my
current qualifications, I have maxed out my educational and personal growth. My college degree
has established me well in but not for a brighter future in current configuration of Pakistan. In
order for me to move up on the ladder of success it is necessary to get myself more knowledge and
education in business sector, I have made the timely decision to add further professional
qualification to my portfolio. Business Management BA (Hons) from Coventry University will add
not only to my qualification but also the foreign exposure that will assist me towards the next
chapter of my life, which is moving forward with senior managerial designation in the Pakistani
business sector.

My Potential Circumstances in United Kingdom

I and my family therefore decided that I should opt for a quality education from the country which
offers compatible and globally valued education in a student friendly environment. Therefore, after
giving careful consideration to different options available abroad we have concluded that United
Kingdom is one of the most suitable destinations across the world. I have selected United Kingdom
for its highly regarded and globally recognized education. Students from all around the globe are
welcomed in United Kingdom. It is a multicultural and developed country which offers dynamic and
progressive education. The education standard and quality is monitored by the Government.
United Kingdom education is known for its cost efficiency. The education and living
expenditure in UK are less expensive comparatively to other English Speaking countries.

Every year, several thousand students throughout the world go to United Kingdom, to get a world-
class education. Moreover, United Kingdom has pleasant weather which will help me to adjust their
better rather than in any other Western country for my educational purpose.

I searched for many universities in Pakistan for an innovative business program but I found that the
courses being offered are not contemporary and would not develop my skills and knowledge
according to the current world of business. I chose United Kingdom for this significant purpose
related to my career and I certainly know that the professionals who are qualified from foreign
institutes are preferred in Pakistan for higher positions in large national and multinational
organizations.

I have tried to cover the benefit of United Kingdom education through following points:-
Diversity of Education:-

British universities, colleges and institution have wide variety of education, which fascinate the
students to feel easy to select their desired study programs without any hassle. UK is offering
courses in every field from business to humanities, Medical to engineering, social welfare to
education.

Global Recognition:-

United Kingdom Certificates, Diploma programs and degrees are internationally recognized
qualifications, which are accepted by employers and university worldwide. Due to the global
recognition United Kingdom qualifications play significant role for international student’s
professional and academic career to grow and be fruitful in order to succeed in their career.
Similarly, in my home country Pakistan, United Kingdom degrees are very valuable when it comes
to seeking employment after.
United Kingdom’s one of the most attractive aspects for international student is the scientific
research. United Kingdom has been at the forefront of new technology and innovation.
International students can advantage from the available technology and research resources while
studying in United Kingdom.
Some other fascinating attractions for me in United Kingdom are cost of living, English speaking
environment, multiculturalism, education excellence, quality assurance, students support services
by providers and the government support for international students, studying in United Kingdom.
Similar programs in Pakistan (Home Country):-

I have searched for many universities in Pakistan for but I found that the course contents are not
contemporary and would not develop my skills and knowledge according to the current business
practices.

During my research I also came to know that none of these courses were recognized by the
HEC (Higher Education Commission Pakistan). That was the most important point for me to
not studying similar programs in my home country. If any qualification in Pakistan is not
recognized with HEC, it will not be accepted at official level. No university will accept them as
credit transfer towards their BS degree and no national, multinational organization will
accept them for employment.

That’s why I opted for study abroad because studying in home country meant in loss of money&
time with no positive impact on career.

Conclusive comparison between United Kingdom and Pakistani Qualifications:

According to most authentic and reputed global universities ranking systems like (QS / Times
Higher) no Pakistan stand among top 500 Universities in the world ranking. However there are so
many top notched education provider in Pakistan like NUST, NED, University of Karachi, LUMS but
not a single institute comes under 500 top universities in the world.

Not only this, Pakistan has been placed after 110 th number on global performance indictor for
education system and unfortunately Pakistan has been marked for its worst education system.
In contrary, many United Kingdom Universities stand among top 100 universities in the world and
United Kingdom stand among top 10 countries along with USA & Australia with best education
systems in the world.

Reason for choosing Coventry University

I have carefully enrolled myself to study my courses at Coventry University. I chose to study at this
provider because it was offering exactly the course that I was interested in studying and the
subjects (listed above) are attractive and rather practical; therefore, It is a best suited course for a
person of my qualification.
Furthermore, the programs offered at this provider are approved by the United Kingdom Authority
as well as the courses are globally recognized and accepted by employers and institutions.
There are some other determining factors which contribute in my decision making of selecting this
University such as the affordable and reasonable study cost, the size of the classrooms that are
ideally small for students, credit transfer for previously completed studies. This provider facilitates
