HOOK RELEASE INSTRUCTION

NORMAL OPERATION (OPERATED BY DRIVER)


1. Pull safety pin A out
2. Lift up the handle A until the pin break away from the groove
3. Pull the release handle. The hook is now released

EMERGENCY RELEASE
1. Pull safety pin B out
2. Pull out the pin C - make the flexible cable bracket disconnected from the mounting
3. Pull the emergency release handle. The hook is now released

RESTORING OF THE HOOK


A person outside the lifeboat turn the hook until the mark on the hook is aligned the gap on
the lifting plate. If it can not be aligned, it need to find the reason and get rid of the failure.
According to the above action turn the hook. When the hook is restored, the helmsman pull
the release handle ahead until the limit pin enter into groove. The hook is now restored.
After emergency release, for restoring of the hook is necessary to release the safety pin A
and restore safety pins B and C. Further proceed as stated above.

LAUNCHING PROCEDURE
1. Check that safety wires are removed. Ensure landing area is clear
2. Remove safety pin from the hook
3. Remove electrical connection socket
4. Release securing clamps fitted with HRU
5. Board the boat, strap yourself in, press head against head rest and hold your arms
crossed in front of you, press body again st your seat
6. Turning battery switch to “BOTH” position
7. Check all hatches and openings are closed and secured
8. Put the engine switch into “RUN” and push “START” button to start the engine
9. Release the hook and launch the boat
