When we study community in general, it is logical to start by knowing our own

community. Thus, this performance task is geared towards knowing your own
barangay/village by gathering basic information.

The following are the data you need to provide:

1) The name of your barangay/village
2) The official logo of your barangay
3) The geography of your place (the location map and area in square
meters)
4) The present officials (Punong Barangay and Councilors)
5) The historical background of the name of your barangay/village
6) The present population (number of residents, total number of registered
voters)

Instructions:

1) Use two sheets of short sized (8.5"x11") paper, in portrait orientation.

2) On the first sheet, draw the official barangay logo and, below it, the
map of your barangay. Indicate the land area of the barangay on the map.
3) On the second sheet, provide the information being asked (Items#1,4,5,6).
Make sure to properly cite all sources.
4) Below is the matrix for grading:
a. Accuracy = 40%
b. Overall presentation = 40%
c. Punctuality of submission = 20%

Note: When you visit your Barangay Hall to gather information for this task,
make sure to ask permission from the barangay officials especially when taking
photos of official info-posters. Also, always follow guidelines and safety protocols.
