-SILVER JUBILEE AND ETHNIC DAY

As we marked the 25th year of the foundation of NLIU, this academic year, Athena made
sure to celebrate the silver jubilee in style. With events ranging from the grand alumni meet
to everyone dressing up in their ethnic best for batch photographs, Athena made sure that the
college was celebrated in its full glory. To celebrate the same, various competitions were
organised starting from a painting competition and rangoli making competition. The
competition saw participation in huge numbers by the students and was a success.
PALCHIN

The first major event of this academic year was Palchin. The drama soc presented a skit that
celebrated the quintessential NLIU culture and its students, lending a nostalgic feeling to the
night. The evening brought out many hidden talents with everyone dancing, singing, and
celebrating the college's glorious 25 years. Arindham's concert at the last brought a fun-filled
end to the night and became the main highlight of the successful event.

DHOLIDA/ GARBA NIGHT


With the Garba fever on, Athena organized "Dholida" for all the Garba lovers. The
celebration was filled with the energetic dance to the rhythmic beats of dhol and the
melodious tunes of music. The event resonated with excitement and joy, leaving cherished
memories for a lifetime.
PAINT DATE BY IMPASTO

On the occasion of World Kindness Day, a Paint Date was successfully organized by the art
soc - Impasto. It proved to be an enjoyable event with friends and everyone coming together
to create some beautiful memories together by way of brushes and strokes. It was a fun-filled
event giving a break amidst the busy semester.

SKITCOMPETITION BY AAHWAN

As Children's Day came round the corner, to celebrate the same, Athena in collaboration with
Law and Justice Ministry organized a skit competition which saw participation from various
other colleges of Bhopal. Aahwan, the drama soc helped put together the event in less than 24
hours and even managed to secure the second prize in the competition. The event was praised
and enjoyed by all who attended.
COMMUNITY GAMES

To celebrate the never-ending efforts of all the teaching and non-teaching staff, Athena
collaborated with the Sports Committee to put together a 3-day event for all the staff and their
wards including a mix of both cultural and sports events. The event saw participation in large
numbers of both the teachers as well as the non-teaching staff. It was a way of thanking them
for their contribution to NLIU and was appreciated by all involved.
OPEN MIC

Athena in collaboration with Jus Cultura organized an Open Mic where rockstars of
the NLIU family were provided with a stage to showcase their talents, hidden and otherwise.
The event saw incredible singind, dancing and even stand-up comedy.
Audience turnout was very high and the initiative was a tremendous success.

HOLI CELEBRATION

On the occasion of the festival of colours “HOLI” , a fun-filled party was organised to which
all batches were invited.The evening saw lots of dancing, smiles and memories being made of
sharing the festive spirit among peers.

JAMMING SESSION

Athena, in association with the music society, organised jamming sessions where
students from all batches got a chance to showcase their musical talent. Jamming session
provided a platform to all the students to showcase their brilliant skills.

SCRIBBLE DAY
To give something to the graduating batch of 2023 to cherish for the rest of their
lives,scribble day was organised. The students could scribble their hearts out on white shirts
and this could serve as a token of the memorable 5 years they spent in college.

ACHIEVEMENTS

NLIU’s team got laurels for the university at the 6th edition of NH-65 organized by National
Law University, Jodhpur. A team comprising Deepanshu Soni, Atul Wasnik, Varadharajan
Govind and Animesh Chaturvedi bagged the third position in the ‘Band Wars’ Competition
and first place in the ‘Western Solo’ Competition at NH-65.
