Objectives must be met over the week and connected to the curriculum standards. To meet the
objectives, necessary procedures must be followed and if needed, additional lessons, exercises and
remedial activities may be done for developing content knowledge and competencies. These are
I. OBJECTIVES assessed using Formative Assessment strategies. Valuing objectives support the learning of content
and competencies and enable children to find significance and joy in learning the lessons. Weekly
objectives shall be derived from the curriculum guides.
A. Most Essential Learning Performs division of polynomials using long division and synthetic
Competencies (MELC)
division.
The teacher will let the students recall the previous topic
by doing the activity that will be flash in the TV screen.
The teacher will flash sequences in the TV screen and let the
student identify the kind of sequence by raising the reaction
that correspond to the correct answer.
Possible answer:
People use polynomials in their everyday life. People use polynomials
for modeling of various buildings and objects, used in industries, used in
construction . They are even used in marketing , finance , stocks .

Mathematics Grade 10 is taken only four (4) times a week with one (1) hour per
meeting. However, the Independent and Cooperative Learning (ICL) may be
