Re: Celebration of National Drug Education Program

1. The Board of judges shall provide the theme of the


poster.
2. Poster must be anchored on the theme “Addressing
Drug Challenges in Health and Humanitarian Crises”.

3. The participants will be provided with bond paper (A4
size). Landscape orientation must be utilized.
4. Each participant must have their own pencil, crayons,
and other drawing materials.
5. No printed materials, electronic gadgets, or storage
devices shall be utilized.
6. Each contestant shall be assigned a number.
7. The result of the contest shall be posted on the tally
board immediately after the judges have finished rating
the contestants’ poster.
8. The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

Re: Celebration of National Drug Education Program

1. The Board of judges shall provide topic of the essay


at the venue of the competition.
2. The contestants shall be given two (2) hours to
develop the composition.
3. The contestants shall be provided with a pen and a
long bond paper marked with the assigned number
duly signed by the contest master. They are
prohibited to write their names and the Grade Level
they are representing.
4. No printed materials, electronic gadgets, or storage
devices shall be utilized.
5. Each contestant shall be assigned a number.
6. The result of the contest shall be posted on the tally
board immediately after the judges have finished
rating the contestants’ manuscripts.
7. The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

1. The participants must be a bona fide student of San


Jose Provincial High School.

3. The group must be composed of 5-7 members. The
jingle must showcase the theme of NDEP
Celebration.

Theme: ““Addressing Drug Challenges in Health and


Humanitarian Crises”. #CareinCrises

4. Lyrics should not contain any vulgar and rude


words. Violation of such guideline will result to
disqualification.

5. Utilization of props is allowed. No using of stunts


and musical instruments.

6. School uniform is the only costume allowed during


the contest.

7. The presentation must be in English and Tagalog


and must not exceed 3 minutes of playing time.

8. The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

a) Contest is open to all bonafide San Jose Provincial


HS students.
b) Only one (1) contestant will represent from each
grade level.
c) The contestant shall choose his/her own
declamation piece. And it shall be declamation not
dramatic monologue.
d) The piece shall be delivered 2-3 minutes. Every
excess of 30 seconds shall be one point deduction.
e) Attire should be appropriate to the piece.
f) Coaches shall provide 3 copies of the piece to the
Board of judges.
g) Ranking system shall be used in determining the
winners.
h) Results of the competition are final and non-
appealable.

STORY TELLING CONTEST


Mechanics and Rules
November 28, 2022 │ 4 p.m.

a) Contest is open to all bonafide San Jose Provincial HS

PARADE YOUR FAVORITE BOOK CHARACTER


November 28, 2022 │ 4 p.m.

a) This is a contest of showing off the creativity of students in designing


and/or dressing up with their favorite book character.
b) Since this is a competition of how you create a mock-up of your
favorite book character as your costume, it is expected that your
costume will be created depicting the physical features of the
character and must be attractive.
c) Students are encouraged not to spend money on costumes, but rather
be “imaginative” in their creativity. Use what is available at home.
Teachers may incorporate costume making as a class project.
d) Prepare 2-3 sentences as your opening line of your chosen character.
e) Criteria for judging are as follows:

Creativity ----------------------------------------- (40%)


(Innovative use of materials and resources)
Workmanship -------------------------------------- (30%)
(The craftsmanship in the creation of the costume with the effective use of
colours and materials)

2022 SJPHS MINUS ONE SINGING CONTEST


December 14, 2022 │Wednesday
2:00 p.m.

1. The competitor must be a bona fide student of San Jose Provincial High
School.
2. Each contestant may render one English or Filipino song of his/her
choice. The song must not contain any subliminal, sexually suggestive, or
vulgar lyrics. Non-compliance will result in automatic disqualification.
3. Accompanying music should be minus-one. Singing in acapella or with
live accompaniment will not be allowed.
4. Contestants are to provide the song title upon registration. The
Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject any song deemed
unsuitable for the competition.
5. Duration of the performance must be 4-5 minutes only. There will be a
1-point deduction for every 5 second exceeding on the time.
6. The participant should sing one (1) full length minus one song.
7. Failure to follow the rules may lead to deduction of points or qualification.
8. The music that will be used should be put in a flash drive and should be
passed on or before December 14, 2022, to Mr. Michael B. Villanueva.
9. Costumes must be decent and appropriate for the competition.
10. The Judges' decisions on the results are Final and non-appealable.

this, we would like to ask permission if we could use Villanueva Park as our
venue for the pageant.
