PATTERN INFORMATION
YARN QUALITY
Only 10-15 g of yarn is enough to make this
Kind Feather, Hobbii bow! So, you can make several bows from
100 % Premium Acrylic one skein. After all, this bow is so cute that
100 g / 3.5 oz = 235 m / 257 yds dog owners may want a similar accessory for
themselves :) The bow is worn over a collar
GAUGE (hair hoop or choker) so it's easy to remove
20 dc x 10 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4” x 4” to wash when needed.

BOW
Row 1 (right side): Ch25 (counts as ch22 + dc), dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 21 chains.
(Total: 23 dc). Turn the work (now and each row).
Note: Rows 2-8 work in FLO/BLO: even rows in FLO, odd rows in BLO. When you have “ch3
(counts as dc)” of previous row at the end of the next row, work as usual in 3rd ch of starting
ch3.
Row 2: Ch3 (counts as dc), dc in next 22 dc. (Total: 23 dc).
Row 3: Starting dc2tog, dc in next 19 dc, dc2tog. (Total: 2 dc2tog, 19 dc).
Row 4: Starting dc2tog, dc in next 17 dc, dc2tog. (Total: 2 dc2tog, 17 dc).
Row 5: Ch3 (counts as dc), dc in same st as ch3, dc in next 17 dc, 2 dc in next st. (Total: 21
dc).
Row 6: Ch3 (counts as dc), dc in same st as ch3, dc in next 19 dc, 2 dc in next st. (Total: 23
dc).
Row 7: Repeat Row 2 (remember work in BLO).
Row 8: Repeat Row 2 (remember work in FLO).
Keep the work right side facing you. Continue crocheting around the piece just made.
Round 1: Ch2 (does not count as a st), dc in same st as ch2, *hdc in next 2 sts, sc in next 17
sts, hdc in next 2 sts, (dc, ch1, dc) in next st, continue crocheting along the narrower side of
the bow, 2 hdc around post of starting st of row 8 (row 1, when you work along the next
narrow side), 2 sc around first/last post of next 6 rows, 2 hdc around post of next st**,
continue crocheting along unused side of starting ch22, (dc, ch1, dc) in next st, repeat from
* to ** one time, dc in next st (where 1st dc of this round was made), ch1, drop the loop
from your hook, insert hook in 1st dc from back to front, grab the dropped loop with your
hook and pull through. (Total: 8 dc, 16 hdc, 58 sc, 4 ch1-sps).
Round 2: Ch1 (does not count as a st), bpsc around same st as ch1, bpsc around next 22 sts,
picot, bpsc around next 18 sts, picot, bpsc around next 23 sts, picot, bpsc around next 18
STRAP
Keep the work wrong side facing you. Find 5 middle sts of Row 2 (marked with red lines in
Pic 1). Make a slip knot on hook.
Row 1: 5 sc around post of 5 middle sts of Row 2. (Total: 5 sc). Turn the work (now and each
row). Picture 1
Row 2: Ch1 (does not count as a st), sc in same st as ch1, sc in next 4 sc. (Total: 5 sc).
Rows 3-12: Repeat row 2. Fasten off. Leave a tail approx. 6” (15 cm) and cut the yarn.
Note: You can do more or less repeats depending on how wide the collar is. It is necessary
that the strap wraps around it completely, as shown in Pic 2 (so that it can be comfortably
put on / taken off, but so that the bow does not hang too freely).
Picture 2
Keep the strap folded in half so that the bow is also folded in half (the line between Row 4
and Row 5 is in the middle at the top). Bring the beginning of Row 1 and the end of Row 8 up
to the midline at the top to form a bow (Pic 4). Sew through the bow between the lines of
Rows 1-2 and 7-8 (red line in Pic 4).

Enjoy!
