Activity 1. When the Sun’s Rays Strike!

Objective
 explain how latitude affects climate.

Procedure:
1. Draw a line around the center of the ball.
2. Label the upper half northern hemisphere and the lower half southern hemisphere.
3. Tilt the ball at 23.5° and insert a stick at the bottom.
4. Turn on the light and focus it on the ball. Observe what happened.
