    SAP Document and Reporting Compliance provides two applications. A runtime (to manage
    reports as an end user), and a design time (to create and extend report definitions).
    Define Compliance Reports

    In the next section, we will explain how to activate the runtime app. The define compliance
    reports application is not part of this training.

    This section contains the background information and the tasks you need to perform in order
    to implement Run Compliance Reports application into the system and landscape that you
    have set up and configured.
    In most cases, there are frontend and backend servers. The application is visible in the
    frontend server, but all functions are running on the backend server. Configuration on both
    systems is needed to ensure the application is working properly.
