Report on Cost-Cutting and Energy-Saving Measures in the College of Engineering

In response to the escalating need for sustainable practices and financial efficiency,
the College of Engineering has undertaken a strategic initiative to identify and implement
cost-cutting measures while concurrently promoting energy-saving practices. This report
outlines strategies to enhance operational sustainability, reduce costs, and foster a culture
of responsible resource management within the college.

Introduction

The College of Engineering recognizes the significance of optimizing resource usage

and reducing operational costs to ensure long-term financial stability. This report highlights
initiatives aimed at both cost reduction and energy efficiency, aligning with the college's
commitment to environmental responsibility.

Energy-Saving Measures:
a. Purchasing energy efficient equipment: Use of LED television and projector as
instructional materials. One highly sought-after characteristic of LED TVs is their
exceptional energy efficiency. LEDs are recognized for their lower power
