Cost Cutting Report
Cost Cutting Report
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING
In response to the escalating need for sustainable practices and financial efficiency,
the College of Engineering has undertaken a strategic initiative to identify and implement
cost-cutting measures while concurrently promoting energy-saving practices. This report
outlines strategies to enhance operational sustainability, reduce costs, and foster a culture
of responsible resource management within the college.
Introduction
Energy-Saving Measures:
a. Purchasing energy efficient equipment: Use of LED television and projector as
instructional materials. One highly sought-after characteristic of LED TVs is their
exceptional energy efficiency. LEDs are recognized for their lower power
consumption compared to alternative TV technologies like LCD TVs.

Cost-Cutting Initiatives:
a. Reuse of Paper: Scratch paper often involves using the backside of previously
printed or used sheets. This encourages the reuse of paper that might otherwise be
discarded, reducing the overall demand for new paper.
