Following your application and admission to this institution, you are eligible for a Government Scholarship,
HELB Loan, and Bursary to assist you meet your educational expenses. If you need Government financial
support, you MUST make an application for consideration through the official website www.hef.co.ke. In
case the Government Scholarship, HELB Loan, and Bursary do not cover the entire cost of your

INSTITUTE RULES AND REGULATIONS

A copy of the same will be supplied to you on admission day and you will be required to sign a pledge of
good conduct. The institute rules and regulations must be adhered to.

EXAMINATIONS

The external examinations are set and marked by the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC),
Technical and Vocational Education and Training/Curriculum Development, Accreditation and
Certification Council (TVET/CDACC), National Industrial Training Authority (NITA), and Kenya
Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB). The Institute also administers
Recognition for Prior learning (RPL) assessment and COMPULSORY internal exams.

A student MUST have cleared all the fees before registering for External Exams.

MEDICATION

The institute offers First Aid treatment to students at the College Health Facility. In case of any
referrals, the cost of treatment shall be incurred by the parent/guardian/sponsor.
