High-Speed Temperature Scanner
A challenge for plants running multiple glass types with a variety of
coatings has been how to accurately measure the glass temperature
with a minimum input from the operator, particularly when the coating
typically has a very low emissivity. This can be solved by connecting the
compact SOLOnet SN5 into the LANDSCAN system viewing the glass
from underneath; the dedicated glass toughening software uses this
signal to compensate the temperature measurement for accurate
measurements independent of surface coating.

The glass toughening system is easy to install with

a single cable connection. This reduces installation
costs and complexity. It is easily configured to
alert operators instantly of any product quality
issues. The system has a flush sapphire window
that provides durable protection thus extending
maintenance periods.

A TCP/IP cross-platform or an optional OPC server

means that data can be processed easily. An
optional single point thermometer means that it
possible to make accurate measurements on even
the lowest emissivity coatings. The product is
designed for harsh industrial environments with
sealing to IP65 (NEMA4), ensuring ultimate
measurement reliability and availability.
