CIRCULAR NO. 29/042/2023/66 17-10-2023

TO ALL UNIONS AND MEMBERS:
Dear Comrades,
Fight for adequate Recruitment
Fight against Outsourcing

22nd Oct. Twitter/X campaign – 2nd Phase

26th Oct. Mass Memorandum to MD&CEO of respective Banks
31st Oct. Mass Memorandum to Finance Minister & Labour Minister
We thank all our Unions and members for the successful Twitter/X
campaign on 8th October and Badge Wearing on 13th October. The
response and participation was encouraging and was reflective of the mood
of our members to fight on this vital issue.

22nd October, 2023 : The next phase of Twitter/X campaign will be on

22nd October, 2023 (Sunday). On 8th October, we could cross 1,16,000
tweets and re-tweets. This time, we should surpass this. More war rooms/
collective tweeting should be undertaken. Young comrades who are
conversant and well acquainted with opening of twitter/X accounts should
help and assist others to open their twitter accounts and familiarise them
on how to tweet and re-tweet. More and more VIPs, political and trade
union leaders, Banks and Bank MDs, etc. should be tagged to get a wider
reach to our campaign. All our Unions should plan from today to get the
desired result on 22nd October.

26th October, 2023: On 26th October (Thursday), all our members in all
the Branches should submit the Mass Memorandum to the MD&CEO of their
respective Banks. The specimen of the Memorandum is furnished herein.
In every Branch, our members should sign this Memorandum and forward
the same to the MD&CEO (by email or by post).

31st October, 2023: On 31st October, 2023 (Tuesday), similar

memorandum should be submitted to the Finance Minister and Labour
Minister, Govt. of India.

With greetings,
Yours Comradely,

C.H. VENKATACHALAM

Dear Sir / Madam,

Since there is acute shortage of staff in award staff cadre in most of the
Branches, our national apex organisation, All India Bank Employees
Association ( AIBEA ) has given the call to observe agitational programmes to
express and highlight our demand for adequate recruitments in the Banks.

You will appreciate that non-filling up of vacant posts and non-provision of

adequate staff in Branches result in unduly heavy workload on the existing
employees in the Branch who are compelled to work beyond their stipulated
working hours in violation of the provisions of the Bipartite Settlement.

Further, this also results in deterioration in quality of customer services and

avoidable tensions and conflicts with the customers and banking public.

Hence, we urge upon the management to revise its manpower policy and
provide sufficient staff in the Branches through adequate recruitments.

Yours sincerely,
