Report on Alumni Knowledge Sharing Series

Department of Mechatronics Engineering has organized a Alumni Interaction Series on
“Successful Career Planning ,Higher Education & Technical Profile Building “on 15th December
2022 by Mr.Mithun R, is an Alumnus of Acharya Institute of Technology.

Student Coordinator Ms Ritesh of 5th semester invited the gathering. Mr.Chandrashekhar.L

Faculty Alumni coordinator of the department briefed about the Acharya Alumni Association
and its activities and also introduced the Alumni and all Faculties, HoD were part of event.

Mr.Mithun R, Software Engineer , Cognizant Technologies ,India has shared valuable

insights on diverse opportunities for a mechatronics student in Software Companies and
highlighted importance of various programming languages like Python and Artificial
Intelligence. About 90+ Students from 6th and 8th semester attended the session.

At the end of the session students have interacted with the Alumni and clarified their doubts.

Objectives of the Program:

1. Helps the student to plan the career for Software Industries.

2. Explore Job opportunities and internship programs available for Mechatronics
Engineering Students.
3. Guidance on Programming Languages.

Expected Outcome of the Program: The students will be

1. Aware of opportunities for Internships and Placements

2. Able to discover recent technologies that can be learnt which contributes in
building a better Profile.
