To Receive a License by Examination in
Minnesota you need to:

CREDENTIALS EVALUATION AND


3 PROGRAM COMPLETION
For internationally educated applicants only
Submit a Program Completion Confirmation
from your nursing school.
Submit one of the following:
CGFNS
CES Professional Report ($350)
Educational Equivalency Report (Fee: $165)

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY EXAM.

SUBMIT PASSING NCLEX SCORE

You can use your VisaScreen English proficiency


score to meet the requirements (must be within
the last 2 years).
Do NOT accept score transfers
Licenses expire on your birthday every 2 years
Initial licenses are sent as hard copies. Renewals
are found online.
