You can use the Admin Roles feature to define different levels of access to pages
in Setup.
To activate the Admin Roles feature, and acces the Admin Roles page, you must raise
an SAP Support ticket containing information which admin user can be able to set
Admin Roles. SAP Support then enables the Admin Roles Manager role for that admin
user.

The selected admin user can view the Admin Roles page on their tenant and set which
Admin Roles other admin users can have. This admin user can set the Admin Menu
Manager role to any admin user.

The following is a list of available admin roles:

 Admin Roles Manager

 Admin Menu Manager

 Script Page Admin

 Custom Tables Admin

 Custom Parameters Admin

The following subsections describe the available admin roles in detail.

Admin Roles Manager

Admin users with Admin Roles Manager role can view the Admin Roles page, and can
define which admin role an admin user can have.

Admin Menu Manager

Admin users with Admin menu Manager role can define which parts each admin user
can view in the Menu Settings Setup.

To access the Menu Settings screen, navigate to Setup> Administration> Menu

Settings.

Admin Menu Managers can access the Admin Menu Settings tab. In this tab, an
Admin Menu Manager can define which admin user can view each of the main admin
menu items. Аdmin users with this role can view all admin menu items in Setup. If a
main menu item is visible to an admin user, all sub-menu items are visible, as well. If a
main menu item is set as restricted to an admin user, that admin user can't access the
menu, or its submenu items.

Script Page Admin

Admin users with Script Page Admin role can control which script is editable, which is
read only and which is hidden.

To access the Scripts screen, navigate to Setup> Administration> Scripts.

This functionality can be set on script-level as well as on folder-level.

When a script is set as editable, all admin users can view the script in Script
Editor and can also edit and validate it.

When a script is set as read only, all admin users with Script Page Admin role can still
edit it, while all other admins view the script as read only. Other admin users are able
to view the script's code, however, they can't change, validate, or delete the script.

When a script is set as hidden, all admin users with Script Page Admin role can still
edit the script, while admin users that don’t have Script Page Admin role can't view the
script at all on the Script Editor page.

All admin users can view the script on pages where the script is used, for example on
an action, events, scheduled tasks and so on. Admin users that don't have the Script
Page Admin role can't access the script's code.

Custom Tables Admin

Admin users with Custom Tables Admin role can control which custom table is editable,
which is read-only and which is hidden.

To access the Custom Tables screen, navigate to Setup> Administration> Custom

Tables.

This functionality can be set on script-level, as well as on folder-level.

When a custom table is set as editable, that table is visible to all admin users on the
Custom Tables page. All admin users can modify the table's data and its structure.
When a custom table is set as read-only, the data in the custom table and structure of
the custom table can't be updated manually, or from Migration Manager. The table
remains editable only to admin users with the Custom Tables Admin role.

If a Custom Table is set as hidden, the table isn't visible on the Custom Tables page, or
in the Migration Manager. The table remains visible and editable only to admin users
with Custom Tables Admin role.

The custom table keeps the same permissions when it's migrated via Migration
Manager to another environment, for example, from Scripting,Cases, or from a table
controller or custom table controller.

You can edit information for a Custom Table regardless of the table's status as read-
only, hidden or editable.

Custom Parameters Admin

Admin users with Custom Parameters Admin role can control which script is editable,
which is read-only and which is hidden.

To access the Custom Parameters screen, navigate

to Setup> Administration> Custom Parameters.

This functionality can be set on script-level, as well as on folder-level.

When a Custom Parameter is set as read-only, the data and structure can't be updated
manually, or from Migration Manager. The parameter remains visible and editable only
to admin users with Custom Parameters Admin role.

When a Custom Parameter is set as hidden, the parameter isn't visible on Custom
Parameters page, or from Migration Manager. A Custom Parameter that is set
as hidden can’t be exported by any admin user. The parameter remains visible and
editable only to admin users with Custom Parameters Admin role.

When a Custom Parameter is set as editable, the parameter is visible on the Custom
Parameters page. All admin users can modify, as well as export and import, the
parameter via Migration Manager.
The Custom Parameter keeps the same permissions when it's migrated via Migration
Manager to another environment.

You can edit information for a Custom Parameter regardless of the parameter's status
as read-only, hidden, or editable.
