Due to the continued growth in navigation data and FMS system memory capacity limitations the content of the navigation database for this cycle may have
been changed. The following information identifies the changes to the data content of the navigation database from the previous cycle.

Term Definition
Filter Parameter A set of data that may be included or excluded from the navigation database.
Minimum Runway Length The length of a runway must be equal to or greater than the Minimum Runway Length to be included
in the database.
Nonessential/ Noncompulsory A waypoint at which there is NO endpoint, direction change, or intersection of airways or
Waypoint procedures.
High altitude airway Airways designated for high altitude use.
Low altitude airway Airways designated for low altitude use.
Floater Waypoints A waypoint defined without being referenced by any airway or procedure.
NDB Waypoint A waypoint defined with coordinates of a non-directional beacon.
Terminal Procedures A Standard Instrument Departure (SID) or Standard Arrival Procedure (STAR).
Navaids outside geographic region Navaids that fall outside the geographic region to which the database is being restricted.
Unused Approach Waypoint A Waypoint referenced in a leg of an approach and the approach is not in the database.
