The mandate of the Energy Business Unit is to:
• Deliver safe, reliable and cost effective energy to our customers
• Optimise the value of the asset portfolio
• Execute trades for our customers and our assets

Purpose of Role

The Energy Graduate Officer will support the Analyst and Lead Analysts in the Analysis
team and learn about the energy markets and software tools used to support the Trading
team

Required Capabilities and Qualifications


Tertiary qualifications in a quantitative discipline eg Engineering, Science, Data Analytics
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously & meet deadlines
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
Experience with developing and running complex models
Ability to deliver in a dynamic, fast paced environment
Ability to learn and adapt to changing circumstances
Ability to design and maintain highly effective office data
Team focus with supportive approach to situations and tasks
Self-motivated with the drive and initiative to achieve results
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Pragmatic and logical approach to problem resolution
