IX. NARRATIVE REPORT:

In response to the ever changing challenges of the Parent-Teacher Association, the

Election Committee headed by the Old Cabalan Integrated School Principal IV
Amalia M. Abayan conducted a meeting to discuss the Deped Memorandum no.13,
s.22 or OMNIBUS GUIDELINES ON THE REGULATION OF OPERATIONS OF
PARENT-TEACHER ASSOCIATIONS (PTAs). It was attended by the current
SPTA Officers, Board of Directors and Election Committee.

During the meeting, each section of the Omnibus Guidelines was discussed along
with its sub-section to avoid technicalities in the up-coming HPTA/GrPTA/SPTA
elections, respectively.

Past elections and problem encountered were also re-visited as not to encounter
them again.

It was recalled that some technicalities had happened in the past causing fire to
ignite among other aspiring officers who took the unexpected event negatively.

Schedules for elections of other key organizations were partially discussed as

ELECOM will be a constant participant to their preliminary activities.

In addition, the principal asked the elementary and secondary Election Committee
to conduct a re-echo of the meeting and reminded that whatever it is in the
memorandum should be initiated as expected.
