FUNCTIONS:
1. Power ON:
a. Unit should start switching relays after 15 20 seconds of power ON.
b. Current PF will display on FND in normal condition.
c. No load fault or CT reverse fault will display on FND
d. Lead / Lag LEDS should be ON as per conditions.
e. Last settings should remain save in unit, not status.
2. Auto mode:
a. In this mode, automatic switching of relays should be done as per rotational FIFO Method
to achieve the target PF as close as possible. One individual LED is associated with each
relay that should be ON with respective relays. Relays should ON or OFF one by one with
their saved delay times.
b. No load condition: When load is less than 2% of CT ratio, this condition will considered as
‘NO LOAD CONDITION’
i. At power ON: FND should display ‘LOC’ and the unit will not start switching any relay
automatically.
ii. At working condition: FND should display ‘LOC’ and the unit will switch OFF all relays one
by one.
c. CT reversal condition: If CT connections are reversed; display will show ‘Ct.r’.
3. Manual Mode:
a. In this mode, the relay on/off done by manually.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Always install C/T on Maximum Load Current & connect on same phase
2. Set current sensitivity to avoid hunting at Load Current
3. Always install capacitor in increasing order as given in table:
Stage 1 2 3 4 5
KVAR 1 2 4 8 15
4. Install C/T before APFC panel & factory load
5. Always Set ampere sensitivity to avoid hunting at low current
6. Fix capacitors on LT Side of Transformer for Transformer PF Compensation (If Energy Meter is
installed on HT Line)
