1. This is to announce the Regional Memo. No. 034, s.2022 entitled "Submission of Data on
Child Protection Committees in Schools", as per DepEd Order No. 003, s.2021, othenivise
known as the Creation of the Child Protection Unit and the Rights in Education Desks in the
Department of Education that task to plan, implement, coordinate, monitor and evaluate
programs, projects, and activities related to Child protection.

2. Relative to this, all Public and Private Elementary and Secondary School Heads are
requested to submit the Scfiool Child Protection Policies and Schoot Child Protection
Commitlee oi lhe schools not later than January 28, 2022, in SGOD Office as mandated in
DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012, the Policy Guidelines on Protecting Children in Schools from
all forms of abuse, that emphasized the Department's zero tolerance policy for any act of
abuse and violence against children.

3. Attached is the Regional Memorandum No. 034, s.2022 for reference.

4. lmmediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.

2. Furthermore, the coordinating arms of Child protection Unit for the planning,
implementing, monitoring, reporting, evaluation, and coordination of chilO protecdoli

3. As a respons€ to DepEd Order No. 40, s 2012 otherwise known as the Dep.Ed
Child hatectlon Pofltg, all public and private elementarJr and secondary sch-ools
shall establish a Chllil Protccfiol Commltteo lCpC) which shall be composed of
the following.

3.4 Representative from ttre Parents as designated by the parents-Teachers

5. The Division Child Protection Coordinator is advised to closely monitor schools


in their jurisdiction in accomplishing theCPC Training Needs Survey. ln addition,
the DCPC shall upload the following forms, attached in this Memorandum using the
template in annexes A, B & C through the google drive link,
