Preface

Non-Newtonian fluids are topic of the modern research from several years. Non-Newtonian

flow were of huge practical important and many fluid are taken under this category. Boundary

layer flow and convective heat transfer are two crucial topics which are under observation of the

researchers [1-3] , lately [8 -9] , [22].

Jeffrey fluid is amongst the non-Newtonian fluids having pertinent importance. Under different

conditions [6-7],[10-11], [14], [17-18], the behavior of the fluid flow has been studied by different

researchers.

The study of MHD flows of non-Newtonian fluids has obtained enormous acknowledgment due

to its enactment in the field of science and engineering [4-5], [13] ,[20-23], [24- 26].

The chapter 1 depicts the vital laws and definitions related to heat transfer and boundary layer

analysis, non-dimensional parameters, relevant equations and solution methodology.

Chapter 2 is the review of the research work done by Ahmad and Ishak [24] in which heat

dissipation and flow equations are figured out as well as solved for the MHD Jeffrey fluid through

stretching sheet ingrained by a porous medium. Whereas, the solutions of the derived differential

equations are discussed through tables and graphs.

Chapter 3 is comprehensive analysis of mixed convective movement of Jeffrey nanofluid past

stretching sheet implanted through porous medium in the existence of convective boundary

conditions. Further, constructed equations are resolved analytically by Homotopy Analysis

approach (HAM) and discussed by the help of graphs.
