Activity 6 asks students to produce the grammar
structures for the third singular in both affirmative and
negative structures in the present simple.
Ask students to look at the table and name the different
activities, by matching them to the prompts. They should
point to each picture and call the activity out, e.g. make
cakes, visit museums, etc. Then have the students make
sentences about each person, focusing on the correct
form for the third singular.
Activity 7 asks students to produce the question What do
you do on …? and then answer using the first singular
person in both affirmative and negative structures in the
present simple.
Ask students to look at the pictures again and name the
different activities, by matching them to the prompts.
Then put students in pairs to act out the dialogue.
Monitor and check they are forming questions and
answers correctly.
