Justification for the Official Travel:

Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum and Regional Memorandum CLMD-2023-178

regarding on the conduct of National Training of Trainers for the Higher Order
Thinking Skills-Professional Learning Packages (HOTS-PLPs) for Science, Math and
English Teachers, the Division Education Supervisors for Science, Math and English
shall recommend School Heads as the participants to the said training. The
Department of Education focuses on upgrading the quality of education and to
strengthen the professional training and development at the school level.

With this, the travel is essential wherein participants are expected to attend the
5-day face-to-face activity. Teleconferencing and videoconferencing is not considered as
alternatives because different activities and learning packages were presented that will
help participants/teachers to teach better. These packages will also help them to
develop the higher order thinking skills of their students.
