SCAMMER ALERT‼️‼️‼️

For a little background, it is always been my dream to have my own DSLR camera. As a
campus journalist, I always wanted to improve whatever I was doing. As I’ve been a writer for
almost half of my life, I wanted to explore new things — this time to be a
photojournalist/photographer. To be able to achieve that dream, I obviously need staple
equipment.

Since a brand-new camera is quite expensive, I opt to look for chances of second-hand
cameras being sold on Facebook Marketplace. Not surprising, but there are a lot of offers to
choose from, I just need to be smart about what to buy based on my tight budget. And not for
too long, last June 11, sunday afternoon, I stumbled upon this offering that was, let’s say, “less
expensive” than what I anticipated.

For a little shortcut, I was caught up in that moment. It seems like a dream come true that I can
finally own my first-ever dslr. To check for legitimacy, I asked for videos and pictures of the
product being sold. As I think everything is looking good and real, I’ve finally decided to
purchase the camera. I waited for several days, but the elation disappeared like the hope that
the transaction was legit. There are still a lot of things to say, but these are just what my heart
can speak after this heartbreaking experience. I already recognized my mistakes and stupidity,
so judging me will not help me to move on from this terrible experience.

I still can’t comprehend the pleasure that you can get from scamming other people. We work
hard for that money like everyone else, and you are just so evil if you can still sleep over other
people's miseries. You may win this time, but I owe it to myself that my battle against scammers
like you does not stop here. I will surely utilize everything I have to make sure that you will face
the consequences of your actions. Maling-mali na ako po ang biniktima ninyo. I have everything
that I can use if I will pursue legal jurisdictions, so just wish that karma will not do its job against
you, as you will definitely regret it.

And to my parents, who, despite giving me words of affirmation and motivation, I sincerely want
to apologize for this disappointment. You may be too kind not to scold me for what happened,
but I know deeply that you are very disappointed in me, especially since I am the one who is
much more knowledgeable regarding this type of transaction online. Sorry if ‘di ko po masabi
nang harapan sa inyo kahit magkakasama lang tayo sa bahay because hiyang-hiya talaga ako
sa nangyari, so super sorry po talaga :((

So kindly share this post for everyone’s awareness para ‘di rin po kayo mabiktima. I am really
disheartened by what happened to me, and I don’t know if on what way I can bounce back from
this. I am not in myself, as I am really disappointed in my impulsive decisions and stupidity. I
should know better. I should have done better. This will definitely be a learning curve for me. So
