Good morning once again dear students, you know it is our usual practice to have a review
as we start our class discussion. So, let’s do the recap! Who among you could still
remember our previous lesson? What was our lesson all about? Could you still remember
the Five Key Active Listening Techniques? What are those Five Key Active Listening
Techniques?
Anyway, I have a question for you… How do you surf the Internet? Have you experienced
exploring the vastness of information and magical wonders of what internet connection can
offer?
Internet connection is one of the essential channels to connect, communicate, and create
ideas all may be done in a single sitting. Today’s generation finds it handy or easy to use
computers, laptops, tablets, cellphones, or any gadgets and other devices to connect and
explore the Internet. Moreover, in just clicks away, you are far beyond the limits of knowing
loads of information and animated motions.
As a student, an internet connection is a great help to aid you in your studies and other
questions in life. Yet, you have to
be very cautious and disciplined to click any information that may harm or poison your mind
with fake news or wrong information.

Before we proceed with today’s lesson, let’s first have an activity. This activity is
called “Browse and Name It!”
Browse means to surf, to look or to have a glance. Now, what you are going to do is to look
or have a glance on the pictures that I will flash on the screen one by one and you have to
name it or label the logo or application it represents. I will only give you 5 seconds to guess
its name. Raise your hand if you know the answer. The first one who got the correct answer
will be given a price. Are you ready? Let’s begin!

➢ A search engine is a website through which users can search internet content.
➢ A search engine is a software program that helps people find the information they
are looking for online using keywords or phrases. Search engines are able to return
results quickly – even with millions of websites online – by scanning the internet
continuously and indexing every page they find.
