Introduction
The team sport of volleyball is very well-liked. It is played on a rectangular court that is evenly divided by a standing net. A
spherical ball is struck back and forth over an approximately 8 foot (2.4 m) net by two opposing teams, one on each side of
the net. The three basic variations of volleyball are those played on a firm floor indoors, on grass, dirt, or other surfaces
outside, and beach volleyball, which is played outdoors on sand. Volleyball serves to provide a good workout for all region of
the body because it is an actively played sport.
