Let’s get
acquainted

Hello, my dear amigurumi lovers!

My name is Olga and I love toys
designing! I would call this
document a little adventure, not
only the pattern.

Pay attention, that this work is my intellectual property and

any sharing this pattern, copying or posting in Internet and
also reselling it are prohibited. It is for Your personal use only!

I worked very hard to write this pattern and hope You

respect my work. The toys made according to my patterns can
be used for any purposes! Thank You for understanding!

All the yarn listed can be
Tools and substituted with any other yarn
with similar weight (number 3 in the
materials Standard Yarn Weight System)

1. Yarn:
Main color: Gazzal Baby cotton (50g/165m), red color (number
3439) - small amount (or any other color you want);
Gazzal Baby cotton (50g/165m), white color (number 3432) - small
amount;
Alize Cotton Gold (100g/330m), graphite color (number 182) -
small amount;
Yarn Art Jeans yarn (50g/160m), color 88 (light yellow) - small
amount.

2. Fiberfill.
3. 2mm crochet hook (US 4) - I used Clover.
4. Scissors.
5. Needle.
6. Stitch marker, pins.
Pay attention! In this pattern we use
Abbreviations US terminology.

MR - magic ring inc - increase

R - round dec - decrease
st, sts - stitch, stitches dc - double crochet
ch - chain tr - treble crochet
sc - single crochet sl st - slip stitch
hdc - half double crochet

Notes Please, read the following carefully.

Pieces are crocheted in continuous non-joining rounds (unless

otherwise stated).

The finished car will have an approximate size of 6cm in length and
4cm high (2.3*1.5 inches) if you use the materials listed. My stitches
have an semi-X-shape (I do yarn under, then yarn over when working
sc stitch). If you do yarn over/yarn over, then your toy would be bigger
size.
Also pay attention if you used a different material to crochet the
toy, the size would be different than mine.
The pattern doesn’t include any crochet lessons. You should know
how to crochet basic stitches.

In this pattern I use invisible decreases. They are crocheted in this way
(see also the photo instructions in the next page): insert the crochet
hook into the front loop of the first stitch, don’t pull the thread, at once
insert the hook under both loops of the next stitch, yarn over and pull
the loop, then pull the thread through all the loops on the hook.
Insert the hook under front Insert the hook under both loops
loop only, don’t pull the thread of the second stitch

Yarn over and pull the thread Pull the thread through all the loops
on the hook

Hope you enjoy making your little car! I will be glad to see it finished!

Work in red color (I used Gazzal Baby
cotton). Some parts of the car are
Car crocheted in turning rows and some
parts are crocheted in rounds.

Make ch11. Work in turning rows. Start

working from the 2nd ch from the hook:
R1-4. 10sc, ch, turn (10) - 4 rows

R5. Crochet around the piece we made: 3sc

across the edge of turning rows, 10sc, 3sc
across the edges of turning rows, 10sc into
back loops only (26)

Draw an outline around the piece on a cardboard and cut. We will

insert it inside. Continue crocheting according to the pattern given
below and insert the cardboard. Stuff as you go.

R6. 16sc into back loops only, 10sc into both

loops (26)
R7-22. 26sc (26) - 16 rows
Work 1 shift stitch, place marker. Then work 1
tch, turn
Work in turning rows.
R23. Work into nearest half-loops: 10sc, ch,
turn (10)
R24-26. 10sc into both loops (10)
Stuff the piece and sew the opening closed.

And now how about making a girlfriend for him and add

second ch from the hook:
R1. 8sc, ch, turn (8)
R2-8. 8sc, ch, turn (8) - 7 rows

Now we are going to work around the roof

and continue to crochet the piece in rounds:

R9. (7sc, 1sc into the corner)*4 (32) Place

marker.

Change to white color (see the photos in the

next page).
R10. 32sc into back loops only (8sc across
each side) (32)
R11-13. 32sc (32) - 3 rounds
We will need to stuff the piece before sewing it to the main piece.

WHEELS (make 4)
Start crocheting in white color (I used
Gazzal Baby Cotton):
R1. 7sc into MR (7)

Change to black color when making sl st to

join the first round in a circle. Make slip
stitch. Continue in black color:
R2. 7inc (14)
Finish with sl st. Fasten off the thread and
cut, leaving a thread tail for sewing.
HEADLIGHTS (make two)
Work in yellow color. Make ch3 and work
from the 2nd ch from the hook: 2sc.
Fasten off the thread and cut,
leaving a tail for sewing.

ASSEMBLY
Fix the roof on the main piece, placing it between the rounds 5 and
16 (count from the round, where we have worked into back loops
only). Embroider four vertical stitches, which imitate window
borders.

Sew the headlights to the main at to the front side.

Sew the wheels.

Embroider the handles and make two stitches on the back side.
Weave in all the thread ends inside of the piece.
