Procedure

1 Connect the connector of the RBCA electrical checker (AJ-11-00) to the A507J2 receptacle (2, Figure
1).

2 Make sure that the red light of the "Manual Device" comes on.

3 Cut and remove the wire from the two screws (5). Discard the wire.

4 Remove the two screws (5) that attach the cover (4) and the seal (3) to the rotor brake caliper (1).

5 To re-activate the rotor brake caliper (1), use an applicable wrench and rotate counterclockwise the
manual resetting assy (6).

6 Make sure that the red light of the "Manual Device" goes off and the green light comes on.

7 Put the seal (3) and the cover (4) in the correct position on the rotor brake caliper (1).

8 Install the two screws (5) that attach the cover (4) to the rotor brake caliper (1).

9 Torque the two screws (5) to 0.60 thru 0.70 N m (5.31 thru 6.19 lbf in) with the Torque wrench
(ZZ-50-04) .

10 Safety in pairs the two screws (5) with the Wire (C013) .

Requirements After Job Completion

1 Remove all the tools and the other items from the work area. Make sure that the work area is clean.

2 Install the rotor brake caliper. Refer to 69-A-63-51-03-00A-720A-A
