Article 7
(1) Information on Marking as intended
in Article 5 paragraph (1) must be stated on the packaging

Article 8

Technical Requirements for Marking Cosmetics Preparations

b. Skin preparations containing Alpha Hydroxy Acid are mandatory

Article 9

(1) The owner of the Notification Number who violates the provisions

and/or Article 8 in this Agency Regulation is subject to
administrative sanctions in the form of:

a. written warning;
b. prohibition of distributing Cosmetics for

c. orders for the withdrawal of Cosmetics that are not

d. destruction of Markings;
e. temporary cessation of circulation activities

Article 10
The procedure for imposing administrative sanctions as follows:

Indonesia has implemented a notification mechanism for:
Cosmetics since January 1, 2011 (in lieu of the registration mechanism
previously applied).
Consequences of the notification mechanism, the Drug Supervisory Agency and
Food does not conduct comprehensive premarket evaluation
as done during the registration mechanism. Therefore the perpetrator

II. COSMETICS MARKING TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

II. GUIDELINES
