SUBJECT : GUIDELINES IN MAKING QUARTER-END EXAMINATION

1. The Quarter-End Examination is given as assessment for learning after the delivery of lecture notes weeks 1-6.
It is a multiple type of test.

b. Layout, Margins, Spacing between Lines
Portrait Orientaion
Margins 0.3-0.5
Spacing between Lines – 1.0
Size – 8.5 x 13
Two columns
c. Font
Style – Segoe UI
Size – 7-8
No bold face (italicize/underline to emphasize)
d. 50 items equivalent to 50 points
2. Contents of the examination are only delivered/implemented instructions.
3. Table of specification (TOS) is required.
4. Questions must be aligned in the KUD classification and RBT level of learning.
5. Number of items per topic must be identified based from the given formula.
6. Use WH questions. Capitalize letter-choices.
7. Avoid ambiguous language to avoid confusion. Use clear and concise wording.
8. Avoid tricky questions.
9. Use clear instructions.
10. The administration of exam is one hour. Set a reasonable limit for the exam considering the complexity of
questions.
11. Review for errors, typos and consistency. Revise previous questions.
12. Allot enough space for answers.
13. Tagging NO ERASURE is allowed but it must be recognizable at first glance. CORRECT MINUS WRONG
is NOT allowed.
14. The following are assigned as Test Paper Review Designates:
Ma’am Maria Jula A. Quitevis – Grade 11
Ma’am Lleona Rose R. Valencia – Grade 12
15. Submit printed copy one week before the first day of examination to give time for checking, revision,
reproduction, preparation and distribution of the test.
