    What is the structure of instructive text?


    Instructive texts tell you how to do something step by step in order. Good
    instructive texts are written in a simple, logical style and include helpful features
    such as diagrams, graphs, charts, bullet points and numbered headings. An
    example of an instructive text is an instruction manual.

    How do you write an instructional text?


    Here are some key features to include when writing instructions: A title saying what
    the instructions are about. A short introduction explaining what the instructions are
    going to help the reader make or create. A list of the items or equipment the reader
    needs to complete the instructions.

    What are the purpose of instructions?


    The purpose of instruction is to help people learn. The goal of instructional
    designers is to make learning easier, quicker, and more enjoyable.

    EXAMPLE 1:

    Instrucciones de lavado en lavadora /

    TITLE: Washing Instructions in washing machine.

    Introduction:
    In this instructive you will learn how to carry out a washing in a washing
    machine.
    MATERIALS:
    Water
    Detergent
    Blench
    Softener
    INSTRUCTIONS/PROCESS:
    1.- Conecta la lavadora/CONNECT THE WASHING MACHINE.

    2.- Abre la tapa de la lavadora/OPEN THE LID OF THE WASHING


    MACHINE
    3.- Introduce la ropa en la lavadora / LOAD CLOTHES INTO WASHING
    MACHINE.
    4.- Cierra la puerta de la lavadora / CLOSE THE WASHING MACHINE
    DOOR.
    5.- Añade el detergente en el primer
    compartimiento, PUT DETERGENT IN
    THE FIRST COMPARTMENT.
    6.- la lejía en el segundo
    compartimiento, PUT THE BLEACH IN
    THE SECOND COMPARTMENT.
    7.- y/o el suavizante en el tercero,
    AND/OR PUT THE SOFTENER IN THE THIRD.

    8.- Selecciona el programa de lavado de acuerdo al contenido: rápido,


    intenso, delicado / CHOOSE THE APPROPIATE WASHING PROGRAM
    ACCORDING TO CLOTHES: QUICK, INTENSE, DELICATE.
    9. Espera el ciclo de lavado. WAIT FOR THE WASH CYCLE.
    10. Cuando se detenga abre la tapa de la lavadora. WHEN IT STOPS
    OPEN THE LID OF THE WASHING MACHINE.
    11.- Retira la ropa de la lavadora. TAKE THE CLOTHES OUT OF THE
    WASHING MACHINE.
    12.- Listo. READY
