Learning Outcomes
10th grade students will use new vocabulary about shopping and different kinds of clothing to complete a fill-
in-the-blanks activity with 80% accuracy after watching a related animation.

10th grade students will use the vocabulary given in the animation to form sentences until they have accurately
constructed 10 lines of dialogue to act out during a groupwork session.

Instructional Materials & Media


An animation will be played for the students, a projector will be needed like the first lecture. The animation will
be played through the site powtoon.

Learning-Teaching Methods
This class has “presentation”. The information is presented through an animation with the help of technology.

This class uses great help from “cooperative learning”. In cooperative learning, students work in groups, and it
is very important to form appropriate groups to support better learning. In this lesson, students will come
together as groups to create dialogues related to the topic.

Teaching Activities
Students will follow the animation played, which is about a dialogue taking place in a clothing store, and will
fill in the blanks in the script, then they will watch it the second time.
Students will create groups of 3 and perform dialogues using the related vocabulary and phrases highlighted in
the animation. The teacher will observe them carefully for feedbacks and will support learning this way.

Individual Learning Activities -

Group Learning Activities Students will create and perform dialogues in groups
of 3 using the related vocabulary and phrases.

Summary
This lecture will be about the vocabulary of the unit which are related to clothes. The students will pick up the
words from the animation shown and then the teacher will go over the vocabulary just in case. The students
will also learn sentences and phrases about shopping. They also will write a dialogue of their own in groups.
Measurement & Evaluation
There are no measurements with the aim to only examine the students. The evaluation needs to be done by
the teacher by observing the students.

Measurement & Assessment Activities for The blank spaces in the animation must be filled. The
Individual Performance students can answer verbally after asking for permission
to speak.

Measurement & Assessment Activities for No specific measurement. However, the dialogues that
Group Performance students create will be taken assessed.

Homework (optional) The students will be required to write short paragraphs


describing the pieces of their favorite outfit.

Explanation
It should be observed whether the students can use the right vocabulary that can fit their dialogues accurately
and the right phrases.
Explanation regarding to the implementation of the plan
The students will be given an animation that is a dialogue in a clothing store. The dialogue will contain
vocabulary related to shopping and clothes, and phrases to use while shopping. After that, the teacher will go
over the vocabulary and sentences until the students are more confident about them. After the students are
taught the content, they will watch the animation once more and will be asked to form groups and create their
own dialogues that is similar to the one they had watched. While they act their dialogues out, the teacher will
observe them and take notes.
