METHOD OF STATEMENT
HVAC PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

1.0 Name of Substation and Equipments

Substation: 132kV FORSAN SUBSTATION

2.0 Purpose

HVAC System Preventive Maintenance

3.0 Scope

 Ensure necessary permits and supervision from DEWA

 Identify the area and warning tape for start the works.
 Switch off respective package unit to start servicing.
 Cleaning and washing of all condenser coils.
 Cleaning and washing of all aluminum filters.
 Check the belts of all units, if damaged will be replaced with new one.
 Cleaning of electrical panel of package units with blower.
 Repeat same procedure for all package units.
 Switch on the units after work completion.
 Normalize the system.

4.0 Safety Precaution

 All standard safety requirements shall be followed.

 The work shall be carried out under supervision of DEWA engineer.
 Make sure that no one works/touches in the live panel.
 Live panel will be barricaded with red warning tape.
 Identify the hazards and take necessary precautionary steps.
 Wear proper PPE.
