Extended Range Forecast for the UT of J&K

1. Observed condition during last week: During the week (24th November – 30th November 2023)
Jammu Region received 48.79% below normal rainfall and Kashmir Region received 83.57% below
normal rainfall.

2. Highest Maximum Temperature (Tmax) = 17.50C and Lowest Minimum Temperature (Tmin) = -3.40C for
Kashmir Division.
Weekly average maximum temperature for Kashmir Division = 14.1ᵒC with anomaly of 2.0°C
Weekly average minimum temperature for Kashmir Division = 1.9ᵒC with anomaly of 2.8°C

3. Highest Maximum Temperature (Tmax) = 26.60C and Lowest Minimum Temperature (Tmin) = 2.8 0C for
Jammu Division.
Weekly average maximum temperature for Jammu Division =23.8ᵒC with anomaly of 0.1°C
Weekly average minimum temperature for Jammu Division = 11.6ᵒC with anomaly of 1.3°C
