COMPANY BACKGROUND
Kanga Security Services is a medium sized Kenyan Security company with
high profiled security personnel having proven managerial abilities and
experience. Kanga security is incorporated under the companies act (cap
486) it is a local company with knowledge of the security demands of the
residents.
MISSION TRAINING.
Kanga Security Services training is conducted by personnel who are

The recruits undergo (6) six weeks vigorous training, where they are
introduced in the following field among others.

REPLACEMENT OF GUARDS : The company maintains at least 10 trained guards at any one time. These
act as standby for replacement and deployment to any new assignment.
To enhance performance the company recognizes individual achievements
by offering tangible and non-tangible benefits. This goes a long way in
boosting the morale of the personnel.
SUPERVISION : All our guards are subjected to supervisory checks, to ensure they adhere
to clients’ expectations while in the course of their normal duties. All guard
are checked each during both day and night shifts by our trained and
experienced supervisors. Their performance can thus be monitored on a
daily basis. The supervisors checks on actual appearance of the guards,
his duties on all clocking points where available.
The management of this company on the standard of discipline on
personnel to ensure that our clients get high quality services, this goes
hand on hand with a 24 hour patrol with two visits per 12 hours shift to keep
our guards alert at all times, senior members of management staff also do

The guards are trained to prevent theft of materials, tools, and equipments
from the site and prevent the damage on the site.
Hospitals
The guards are trained on how to assist the sick and the visitors to the
hospitals. They are trained on how to make a thorough check of vehicles
entering and leaving the hospitals and carry proper instructions given by
the doctors.
Car park
The guards are trained to ensure that cars parked are orderly ensuring
easy entry and exit of cars, they are trained on how to direct proper parking
thus avoiding double parking. Their training involves proper documentation
of parked cars, their entry driver’s particulars and departure time.
Residential Premises.
The guards are trained to ensure proper manning of residential gates, the
protection of occupants inside the residence and the prevention of the entry
of unauthorized persons. They are also trained on how to relate to quests
and proper ushering and procedures .

Uniforms are kept clean and in good condition. Attention is always paid
to person’s cleanliness.
Health.
Employee must be of good health. Physical defects or abnormalities
which may result in them not performing their duties well are not
tolerated. They must be of good sight and able to hear all types of
communication.
Professionals.
The employees have to operate professionally and they should be
knowledgeable to their assignments of their duties and company
regulation.
Attitude.
The guards are cheerful and respectful to the customers and address
the clients with their appropriate titles. They should be willing to perform
extra duties so long as they don’t conflict with their duties on their
assignment.
Mannerism.
The guards behave in manner which gains respect of those they come
into contact with. There should be a good understanding between the
guard and the customer.
Physical conduct.
The guards are not allowed to use abusive languages, raising their
voices or fighting while on duty. They are not allowed to interfere with the
normal and efficient running of the clients operations of the business.

Physical Condition.
STANDARD CODE OF CONDUCT. Our guards are not permitted while on duty or in company uniform to
smoke or drink alcohol. The use of prescription drugs must be
reported through the Supervisor to the operation manager.
Customer Relations.
Our managerial staffs are available around the clock for queries or
assistance that a client may have. Our customer relations and quality
assurance, officer has the following key responsibilities:-
Regular visits to all customer satisfaction surveys.
Ensuring there are sufficient standby guards at all times
Checkups on the field units and ensure all technical assistance
Facilities are in good condition (Ladders, Ropes, Winches etc )
Communication Back-up.
Our company provides the guards with two way mobile phones for
communication or requesting for back up, which facilitate us to
respond quickly to our clients’ calls.
