We are proud to introduce our company to your esteemed organization and therefore kindly submit our
application for consideration in view to providing security services and installation of security sytems to
your premises. Our firm was registered in August 2010 under the companies Act (Cap468) we have
rigorous trained guards with a vast majority of ex-forces.
The firm has two founder members, which are Anderson Ngale a Hotelier and Edward Kalinga a retired
police inspector.
The name KANGA derives from the names KALINGA and NGALE.
Our guards are professionally trained in all related security disciplines including;-Search techniques,
interpretation of security instructions. Access control, industrial accidents, fire fighting drills, safety and
hygiene, first aid, crime detection and prevention, criminal procedure code (Cap 75), casual evacuation,
customer car and public relation among others.
We monitor them around the clock and further take step beyond just trusting them. For effective and
immediate action, we have twenty four hour operations Radio base station which is in constant
communication with all our control back-up vehicles, motor bike rides and public relation among
others.
Our guards are always under instruction to replacement of guards or any further instruction from the
client. Guards are routinely rotated to avoid them being friendly to their working stations, a measure

COMPANY BACKGROUND
Kanga Security Services is a medium sized Kenyan Security company with
high profiled security personnel having proven managerial abilities and
experience. Kanga security is incorporated under the companies act (cap
486) it is a local company with knowledge of the security demands of the
residents.

MISSION TRAINING.
Kanga Security Services training is conducted by personnel who are
reputable professionals in the field they are equipped with the latest state of

REPLACEMENT OF GUARDS : The company maintains at least 10 trained guards at any one time. These
act as standby for replacement and deployment to any new assignment.
To enhance performance the company recognizes individual achievements
by offering tangible and non-tangible benefits. This goes a long way in
boosting the morale of the personnel.

SUPERVISION : All our guards are subjected to supervisory checks, to ensure they adhere
to clients’ expectations while in the course of their normal duties. All guard
are checked each during both day and night shifts by our trained and
experienced supervisors. Their performance can thus be monitored on a
daily basis. The supervisors checks on actual appearance of the guards,
his duties on all clocking points where available.
The management of this company on the standard of discipline on
personnel to ensure that our clients get high quality services, this goes
hand on hand with a 24 hour patrol with two visits per 12 hours shift to keep
our guards alert at all times, senior members of management staff also do
surprise checks on both the guards and the supervisors to ensure they
carry out their respectful duties.

case of overcrowding so as to ensure smooth flow of persons in and out of
the premises. If assigned inside the establishment they are trained on how
to detect and prevent shoplifters. For hotels extra training on public relation.

party is being conducted so as to protect the client, customers and
valuables. They can also control cars in and out of the parking areas.

STANDARD CODE OF CONDUCT. and prevent misconduct. It involves looking at the following:-

Appearance.
Uniforms are kept clean and in good condition. Attention is always paid
to person’s cleanliness.

Health.
Employee must be of good health. Physical defects or abnormalities
which may result in them not performing their duties well are not
tolerated. They must be of good sight and able to hear all types of
communication.

Professionals.
The employees have to operate professionally and they should be
knowledgeable to their assignments of their duties and company
regulation.

Attitude.
The guards are cheerful and respectful to the customers and address
the clients with their appropriate titles. They should be willing to perform
extra duties so long as they don’t conflict with their duties on their
assignment.

Mannerism.
The guards behave in manner which gains respect of those they come
into contact with. There should be a good understanding between the
guard and the customer.

Physical conduct.
The guards are not allowed to use abusive languages, raising their
voices or fighting while on duty. They are not allowed to interfere with the
normal and efficient running of the clients operations of the business.

Physical Condition.
STANDARD CODE OF CONDUCT. Our guards are not permitted while on duty or in company uniform to
smoke or drink alcohol. The use of prescription drugs must be
reported through the Supervisor to the operation manager.

Customer Relations.
Our managerial staffs are available around the clock for queries or
assistance that a client may have. Our customer relations and quality
assurance, officer has the following key responsibilities:-
Regular visits to all customer satisfaction surveys.

Checkups on the field units and ensure all technical assistance

communication or requesting for back up, which facilitate us to
