The simple way to use

Photoshop for drawing

W
hile Photoshop is used for photo editing, it
can also be used in drawing art, There are
technically other substitutes, but Photoshop
is the main software I use.

1. Find a Reference or Model – When making Photoshop, its best you do

reference as it serves as a guideline and makes it easy to work with.
Ex. This the drawing I serve as a reference

2. Resize the image – When making an art in Photoshop, resize the image for a
better view or make the drawing larger, make the resolution either 300 or
200.

Layers – Right below there is a layer section, and you can add layers to draw
you’re art.

 Note: It’s very important to add different layers for each specific parts; one
for the color, one for the background. One for the body lines or others.
Likewise, you also can merged those
layers as one as well you can
do this be selecting all the
layers and right click.

3. Pentools – There are each

specific pen tools for the job
but the brush tool is the most
important, there is also variant
paint brushes. The default is
the hard Round tool.
However, the tool I used is the
round tip to make a sharp edge
at bottom.

4. Paint and Magic Wand Tool – There is bucket tool that allows color you’re
drawing but, there are times the paint can’t color all of it

In order to color the edges,
this is where the
magic wand tool
comes in play.
This tool allows you to select an explicit line of the layer, the wand tool
helps a lot when it comes to coloring and other stuffs.
Here’s how to select all the edges, I normally use expand tool but sometimes I used

Side note: I technically wanted to include the coloring methods but the problem is, I am quite bad
at coloring things.
