T
he Nigerian economy is ranked as the
largest in Africa and the 30th in the world,
with a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of
approximately $400 billion (US dollars) in 2018.
Nigeria with a population of over 200 million, is
undoubtedly, Black Africa's Largest market. With
abundant energy resources and proven Crude Oil
reserves in excess of over 30 Billion Barrels, the
Nigeria Oil sector remains the mainstay of the
country's economy.
The main thrust of the Government's economic
policies have now shifted towards diversification
of the economy, through the introduction of liberal
economic programs, policies and incentives;
directed at stimulating our non- oil export industry,
especially the Agricultural and Agro- Allied sector.
In pursuant of this objective, the Government has
set-up various Agencies and programs, all aimed
at contributing towards the Promotion and
development of our Agricultural and Agro- allied
Industry.
Consequently, the ENUGU AGRO- FAIR AND
EXPO 2021, is expected among other things, at
directing attention on the investment prospects
and opportunities that abound in the Nigerian
Agricultural and Agro- allied industry.
This fair shall provide a special spotlight on the
Agricultural & Livestock sector by Boosting food
production in Nigeria through the unlocking of
Agricultural innovation for sustainable
development.
Modern Agriculture is Science and technologically
based and it's aimed at high productivity. It is
hoped that organic farming and subsistence shall
form the framework and catalyst for building
capacity for rapid Agricultural development and
advancement in Nigeria.
AGRO- FAIR SCOPE AND CONCEPT
1.) The Fair shall feature the gathering of all
the stake holders in the Agricultural, Livestock
and Agro- Allied sector of our economy; these
include Farmers, Livestock dealers, Fish
farmers, Agricultural Machinery manufacturers,
etc. The Fair is expected to witness full
representation from all the States from the
South Eastern part of Nigeria.

2.) The Fair shall provide a veritable ground for
Agro- allied Companies and Research
Institutions to market improved seedlings, grains,
and other genetically advanced crop species that
have been technologically improved for high
yield. There's a huge demand for improved crops
in the Agro- sector in Nigeria.
3.) The Fair shall focus attention on organic
farming, High- yield organic fertilizers, weed/ pest
control Chemicals and other Technologically
modified Agro- chemicals suitable for modern
farming. There's an increasing demand for this at
the grassroots Agro- sector in Nigeria.
4.) The focus on precision Agriculture has
evolved in Nigeria today. Precision Agriculture is
based on proper Information management tools
aimed at improving output and profitability. This
Fair shall provide an opportunity for innovative
companies with high yield products and services
to interface with the target market at the Fair.
5.) The current crises in the Livestock market
in Nigeria especially the South Eastern parts
makes it imperative for Livestock farmers,
Ranchers and other investors in animal livestock
business to take advantage of the glaring
opportunities that abound in this segment and
invest massively to address this shortfall and
over- dependence on Nomads to meet our
livestock requirements in this part of the country.
6.) The demand for Agricultural Machinery
and implements by farmers and farming
enthusiasts is over the top because in some
states there are literally no Agricultural machinery
available to farmers at all levels. Therefore, very
reputable Agricultural Machinery manufacturers
and Equipment leasing companies shall have a
robust opportunity to harvest the huge potential
market for Agro Equipment. Many States are
prepared to acquire large numbers of Agricultural
Machinery for their States.
7.) The Fair shall provide an opportunity for

distributed freely throughout the 36 states of
the Federation and Abuja, using various
channels including the offices of NATIONAL

 The Brochure is expected to be in circulation
some months before the commencement of

IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
“Exhibitor” means any participant in the AGRO
FA I R , a n d t h e i r a u t h o r i z e d A g e n t s o r
Representatives.
“Organizers" means the Enugu Chamber of
Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture and
Southfield International & Co.
“The Fair” means the Enugu Agro Fair & Expo
2021
“Contract” means the agreement entered into
between the Organizers and the Exhibitor for the
use of space on the Fair ground and a display of
exhibits at the Agro Fair, in accordance with these
terms and Conditions or other rules that may be
issued by the Organizers in the course of the Fair.
ALLOCATION AND USE OF EXHIBITION
SPACE
 The Organizers shall allocate exhibition
space on a first come and first served basis.
They shall reserve the right to vary the space
allocated before erection of stands.
 The minimum size of space allowed is 15
square meters.

 Exhibitors shall be liable to any damage to
the Organizer's facilities placed for their use.
 Exhibitors must not sublet in whole or part of
the space allocated to them without the
Organizer's written consent.
 Exhibitors are advised to declare the correct
type of exhibit to enable proper sector
allocation of space. False declaration of
exhibit will attract penalties.
 Exhibitors shall be deemed liable to any
damage to the Organizer's facilities placed for
their use.
CONSTRUCTION OF EXHIBITION STAND
 All Exhibitors are to construct their stands in
accordance with the specifications issued by
the Organizers.
 Official business hours shall be between 8
a.m to 6.00p.m. daily
 All exhibitors must obtain confirmed
allocation and submit their drawings for
approval by the Organizers.
 All Exhibitors Signage or Billboard must be
mounted outside the stands in such a way as
not to constitute an obstruction of traffic or the
Environment. Failure to adhere to the
organizers regulation shall attract penalties.
 All Exhibition materials must be dismantled
and removed at the expense of the exhibitor
at the end of the Fair.
PROHIBITED AND RESTRICTED EXHIBITS
 All items placed under ban or general
restriction by the law.
 Exhibitors wishing to demonstrate with any
inflammable material shall obtain the prior
written approval of the Fire Brigade Authority
and shall be required to provide fire
extinguishers.

EXPO 2021 TERMS AND REGULATION TO ENSURE A HITCH- FREE EXHIBITION
 The Organizers reserve the right to refuse the
display of any exhibit without any prior notice.
 Exhibitors of food, drugs, Agricultural
devices, and Agro- chemicais must possess
evidence of registration with the National
Agency for Food and Drug Administration and
Control (NAFDAC) as required by Decree
Number 19 of 1993.
INSURANCE, LIABILITY AND RISKS
 The Organizers are indemnified from all
liability arising from the loss of injury or theft
of Exhibits arising to any person, employees/
or agents of the Exhibitors throughout the
duration of the Fair.
 Organizers shall arrange Insurance covers at
premium rates for interested Exhibitors who
contact the Organizers for necessary
assistance.
 Exhibitors shall show a full list identification
marks, origin, description, quantity, weight
and C.I.F value marked EXHIBITION
GOODS FOR ENUGU AGRO FAIR & EXPO
should be shown to the Customs at the Port of
entry.
 All goods admitted under temporary
importation .regulations shall be re-exported
within three months of the end of the Fair.
 Exhibitor's shall be issued with an Exhibitors
pass and Stickers in accordance with the size
of Stand/ space occupied.
IMMIGRATION FORMALITIES
 Entry visa to Nigeria to be obtained from
Nigeria Embassies abroad (letters of
invitation to be provided on request).
 Exhibitors must meet minimum entry
requirements like Health Certificate in respect
of yellow fever vaccination COVID 19
protocols etc.
WITHDRAWAL FROM PARTICIPATION AND
BREACH OF CONTRACT
 Exhibitors may be allowed to withdraw from
participation on written notice and approved
by the Organizers.

 The exhibitors shall also indemnify the
Organizer for all costs, losses, damage or
expenses including consequential loss or
failure of services.
 The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss
or damage sustained by any participant
directly or indirectly attributable to any
change in the scheduled exhibition due to act
beyond its control.
 The Organizers will use their best endeavors
to ensure the supply of the services and
utilities mentioned in the Contract.
The Organizers shall in exceptional
circumstances, change the venue, date or
duration of the Fair and shall inform the Exhibitor
by a written notice.
SUPPLEMENTARY CLAUSES & DISPUTES
The Organizers shall reserve right to make
additional regulations and modifications to this
contract.
Any dispute that may arise concerning this
contract shall be decided by the Committee of the
Organizers and shall be final and binding on both
parties.
Exhibitors shall bear the responsibility and cost
for the transportation of exhibits to the exhibition
venue.
Exhibitors shall remove all exhibits from the
venue within the period stipulated by the
Organizers and shall indemnify the Organizers
against any loss by reason of delay or damage.
Exhibits must be removed immediately after the
Fair.
