November 8, 2022, is the date of our final demonstration. I
am second to the demonstrator. I almost started my demonstration at 8:50 in the morning and almost finished it at 1 hour.
I came to school at exactly 7:30 in the morning. Before
starting the demonstration, I still got a chance to have a final dry run and review my pupils for the flow of my lesson. Ma’am Rea came to the room at around 8:47 in the morning. She gave me a signal to start my demonstration.
Ma’am Cristy is with Ma’am Rea who observed me in my
demonstration. Ma’am Cristy is the sub for Ma’am Regacho because Ma’am Regacho cannot attend my final demonstration. After 20 minutes, Teacher Lyza, also a pre-service teacher came to the room to take some photos of my demonstration.
During the demonstration, I noticed that my Grade 5 –
SSES is actively participating. The flow of my demonstration was fast and smooth. I can say that I delivered my demonstration very smoothly.
After the demonstration, Ma’am Rea congratulated me and
my Grade 5 pupils for the wonderful demonstration we have made. I was in teary eyes when Ma’am Rea gives me compliments. After the demonstration, I sent a message to Ma’am Regacho to say that my final demonstration was indeed a successful one. Ma’am Regacho called me on messenger right away and congratulated me.
In the afternoon the recess time of my Grade 5 – SSES, I
gave them a reward. I treated them and gave them a drink and a snack. I said to them that thank you very much for their active participation. We took a lot of photos for remembrance.
When the demonstration is done, we went to the Math
Room together with Ma’am Rea and with my fellow pre-service teachers. Ma’am Rea consulted us one by one and give her suggestions and insights that we need to improve. I am happy because I almost got a perfect score. She also said that with my PowerPoint presentation, the size of the text must be improved so that it can be readable to the pupils. She congratulated all of us. And we took some photos for remembrance also.
Behind those compliments, there is still room to improve. I
am very thankful to the Lord for giving me the wisdom that I need and for my strength. Thanks to Him, because it was indeed a successful demonstration to remember. All I can say is that I am proud of myself.
