About Us
The group of twenty (G20) is the premier
forum for international economic
cooperation .It plays an important role in
shaping and strengthening global
architecture and governance on all major
international economic issues
History
The G20 group of 19 countries and the EU was established in
1999 as a platform for Finance Ministers and Central Bank
Governors to discuss international economic and financial issues.
Together, the G20 countries account for almost two-thirds of the
global population, 75% of global trade, and 85% of the world's
GDP.
The 18th G20 summit was hosted by Bharat in
New Delhi on september 9-10,2023
Theme of G20,2023
Under the Indian Presidency, the G20 in
2023 will focus on the theme, 'One Earth,
One Family, One Future'. The theme affirms
the value of human, animal, plant, and
microorganisms and their
interconnectedness on planet Earth and in
the wider universe.
