‘Method of Application:
PU foam Spray.
1. The spray polyurethane foam shall be applied in accordance with the specification and
instructions of the product data sheet.‘Areas to be built-up to remove ponding water are to be filed in with spray polyurethane
foam before the specified thickness of polyurethane foam is applied to the entire roof
surface.
The spray polyurethane foam must be applied in a minimal pass thickness of 7Omm thick.
The final sprayed polyurethane foam surface shall be "smooth, orange peel, coarse
orange peel, or verge of popcorn.” Polyurethane foam surfaces termed “popcorn” or “Tree
Bark” are not acceptable. These areas shall be removed and re-foamed to an acceptable
surface. (See enclosed photos)
Any damage or defects to the polyurethane foam surface shall be repaired prior to the
protective coating application
‘The polyurethane foam surface shall be free of moisture, frost, dust, debris, oils, tars,
grease or other materials that will impair adhesion of the protective coating.7. ELASTOSPRAY 1611 / 16 Foam Textures:

UV Resistance Coat:
Masterseal 618 shall be applied by brush or roller with thickness of 1000 micron over the entire area of the
polyurethane foam and allow it to dry for 24 Hrs.
Water Test:
Flood the roof with water at 50 mm average thickness. Leave the water for 24 — 48 hours and
visually check all locations of the roof underside for any leak.
Once it has been determined that the roof is effectively water tight release the water.
Protection Layers:
A protection layer Polypropylene Geotextile ALYAF 241 140 gm / me shall be loose laid over the
final protective coat, prior to the application of a sand / cement protection screed.
Protection Screed:
Apply Sand / cement protection screed, as instructed in the specification of the project in panels
