Pinjore Garden was commissioned by Nawab Fidai Khan, a governor in the Mughal Empire, in
the 17th century. It was originally named Yadavindra Garden in honor of Maharaja Yadavindra
Singh of the princely state of Patiala, who made some later enhancements.

Layout: The garden is designed in the classic Mughal Charbagh style, which divides the garden
into four equal parts. It has seven terraces, each with a unique theme and architectural
