A Detailed Lesson Plan for Grade VI Science

I. Learning Objectives
- After the lesson, the students are expected to:
 Describe the seasons in the Philippines;
 Discuss the appropriate activities for specific seasons in the Philippines; and
 Determine the factors affecting the seasons in the Philippines.

A. Warm-Up
Assalamu’alaykum and good day class! Wa’alaykumussalam and good day Teacher
How are you today? Haqq! All well teacher!
Very good. By the way, I am Abdul
Haqq D. Marohombsar, you can call
me teacher Haqq, your science
teacher for this school year. To warm
our afternoon, kindly stand up so we
can do our prayer. (Students stand up and do the prayer)
Alhamdulillah, you may take your
seat now class. Thank you, teacher Haqq!
Is anyone absent for today’s class? No one is absent in our class today
teacher.
Very well.

B. Review
So how was our lesson yesterday
class? It was fun teacher Haqq! Very exciting!
Now, are you ready for another
exciting lesson? Yes, teacher Haqq!
Just for a short review of our previous
lesson, we have discussed what is the
difference between weather and
climate. When we say weather is the
day-to-day state of the atmosphere at
a location, and it’s short-term
variation in minutes to weeks.
Meanwhile, climate is the weather
condition that prevails over large area
for a long period of time.

C. Motivation
Before we begin with our lesson, let
me state first our classroom rules.
First, listen attentively when your
teacher is discussing in front.
Second, raise your right hand if you
have any questions or clarifications.
Third, avoid making any kind of
noise when your teacher is
discussing.
Fourth, always observe cleanliness
inside the class.
Last, respect your teacher as well as
your classmates. All clear teacher!
