VP Sales

About the role:

We are looking for the next key hire in our leadership team. Specifically, we are in need of an
experienced sales leader to take {company name} to the next stage of our journey in creating value
for our customers through cutting edge content analysis technologies. This is a growth-focused role
with direct responsibility for revenue goals, go-to market strategy, and building and coaching a high
output sales team.

Key responsibilities:

● Take full responsibility for revenue growth and the company’s sales targets
● Develop and refine scalable sales processes and procedures
● Build an enterprise-focused go-to-market strategy and further grow our cloud business
● Build and manage successful sales teams (inside sales, corporate sales, pre-sales and
customer success)
● Develop and implement a partner/channel sales strategy
● Take a hands-on approach to every stage of the sales cycle from prospecting to closing
● Responsibility for key KPIs and metrics (MRR, ARPA, CAC, Churn)
● Identify key market trends and activity that affect the direction of the organization

Skills and experience:

● Experience working in technology and more specifically with data analytics-focused products
and teams
● Previous experience bringing a company from €1M ARR to €5M+ ARR (indicative numbers to
reflect our stage)
● Previous experience growing and running a high-performing SaaS or Technology sales team
● Proven record managing both transactional and strategic sales cycles
● Track record hiring and coaching a successful sales team
● The ability to build lasting relationships with customers and partners
