You received an email from your English – speaking friend, Tom. He asked you for some
information about your favorite restaurant. This is a part of his email.
A new restaurant has just opened in my town and it’s wonderful. Have you got a
favorite restaurant? Tell me about it. Where is it located? What kind of restaurant is it?
How are the food and the service? And what do you like most about that restaurant?
Write an email responding to Tom.
You should write at least 120 words. You do not need to include your name or addresses. Your
response will be evaluated in terms of Task Fulfillment, Organization, Vocabulary, and
Grammar.
I went there with my family after I passed the entrance exam to the univeristy and enjoyed it.
It’s called "Gogi House" and has a very warm and seductive appearance. The atmosphere is very
comfortable and the decor is beautiful. The restaurant is located in a plaza in my central city.

The food was definetely wonderful. Their culinary mainly about grilled food, barbecue. The
meat when we grilled had a good smell. It tastes delicious,too. The accompaniments with meat
such as vegetables, sauces, kimchi are fresh, too. The drinks like Coca, Pepsi, 7up are great
choices when you use with barbecue.

The service was excellent. Entering, I was greeted by a warm and caring staff. Warm smiles and
a cheerful aspect told me that they were a friendly and warm team.

I had a great time in this restaurant. It is a favorite of mine in a city where there are a lot of good
places to eat. I thought I’d tell you about this in a review of sorts. Perhaps you’ll want to try it
when you go to my area.
