TECHNICAL REMINDER
➤ AYTOMATIC EXTENSION OF THE GROUND SPOILERS:

and GRND SPLRS armed: As soon as all thrust levers at idle.

When wheel
speed is
above 72kt

and GRND SPLRS not armed: As soon as reverse is selected on one

engine (the other engine remains at idle)

➤ AYTOBRAKE ACTIVATION (MAX or RTO mode):

The autobrake activates by the command for ground spoilers extension. Consequently, if the
RTO is initiated at a speed below 72kt, the autobrake will not activate, because the ground
spoilers extension will not be commanded.

PM CALLOUTS
➤ “REVERSE GREEN”
If no reverse deployment, call “NO REVERSE ENGINE_”, or “NO REVERSE”,
as appropriate

➤ “DECEL”
DECEL callout means that the deceleration is felt by the crew, and confirmed by the
speed trend on the PFD. If no deceleration, call “NO DECEL”

Note: “DECEL” is not triggered by the green DECEL light (DECEL light comes on
when the autobrake is active and the deceleration corresponds to a
predetermined rate achieved, by using reversers and/or brakes).
