AIM…

The project wants to make the waterfront and fishing area better for fishermen by creating improved
spaces with better facilities, improving their lives, and creating jobs. Meanwhile, waterside development
is about making enjoyable spaces near water, but an important archaeological site in the area is being
overlooked and needs more attention to preserve its significance.

OBJECTIVES…

1. Enhance Waterfront and Fish Landing Areas:

- Revitalize the edges of the waterfront.

- Improve the fish landing area.

- Propose waterfront development.

2. Market and Sports Hub Improvement:

- Enhance the existing market situation.

TOPIC 2 - THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF FAITH LEADERSHIP (NIFL)

Project Introduction:

The National Institute of Faith Leadership (NIFL) in Calicut aspires to be a symbol of Islamic scholarship
and leadership development in India. It aims to nurture a new generation of Islamic scholars and leaders
equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and character to navigate the complexities of the
contemporary world and guide their communities with wisdom and compassion.

Aim:

To establish NIFL as an institute of Islamic learning, fostering intellectual and spiritual growth, leadership
development, and community engagement through an integrated Islamic curriculum that blends
traditional scholarship with contemporary relevance.

Objectives:

 Develop a curriculum that integrates traditional Islamic knowledge with contemporary social
sciences and humanities.
 Create a vibrant learning environment where dialogue, critical inquiry, and intellectual exchange
flourish.
 Foster leadership qualities through practical training, community engagement, and mentorship
programs.
 Build bridges between academic and community settings, facilitating knowledge exchange and

Scope:

 NIIFL will cater to a diverse range of students, including:
